Kay Ellen Willoughby, M.D.

Dr. Kay Ellen Willoughby offers expert and professional care for patients with a variety of skin conditions and for those who are interested in facial rejuvenation. She is experienced in administering BOTOX and other injectables for patients whose goal is to enhance skin volume and soften facial wrinkles and frown lines.

Dr. Willoughby is originally from Jacksonville, Alabama and is a graduate of Auburn University. She earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and performed an internship in Memphis, Tennessee focusing on primary care medicine, plastic surgery and dermatology. Dr. Willoughby also served as a research physician in the field of dermatology at Schering-Plough Pharmaceutical Company in Memphis.

Dr. Willoughby is board-certified by the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine. Since her family moved to Birmingham in 1998, she has worked in primary care medicine with a specific focus in dermatology, and has worked with plastic surgeons and allergist groups treating patients with dermatologic conditions.
