Christopher J. Schaffer, M.D.

Dr. Christopher J. Schaffer is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Hedden Plastic Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama with extensive experience in the latest surgical and minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures. He has a passion for the safety and satisfaction of each patient and is committed to achieving exceptional results with BOTOX, Dysport, Juvéderm and more.

Dr. Schaffer graduated from the University of Nebraska and earned his medical doctorate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He completed residencies at Temple University Hospital, Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Schaffer is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). He served his country overseas in Iraq during 16 years of service in the Army Reserve Medical Corps, during which he obtained the rank of Major.
